“To all my customers and well-wishers.
Thanks to you all for giving me opportunity to serve you all for the past 3 and ½ wonderful years in Nelson. I am returning to India. Many of you will know about my intention to open a school for disadvantaged children. Planning is well underway.
My last day of trading at the Wakatau Mini Mart in Hardy Street will be Wednesday 31st July.
From Monday 21nd July I will be cooking a curry or dhal and rice meal and Masala Dosa every day at lunchtime. I hope you can all come in to say ‘ bye for now’. All I ask is a donation (about $5) which will go towards financing the school.
I also have a growing list of people who have put their names in the book at the front of the shop with a view to visiting the school in India as volunteers. Please add your name if you are interested in joining us and sharing your skills at some stage.
Best wishes
Bhaskar Vogeti”
