Today (Sep 19th), Yom Kippur, the day of Atonement will be celebrated. The Holiest day day of the Year in the Jewish calendar, a day of unity & reconciliation. Where did it all go so horribly wrong? The division between I & Other, seems so vast at this time; domination, war & killing permeate our reality.
The Upanishads, say Fear arises when the ‘Other’ comes into being. Well that’s a bummer because their are only I & others in my reality. The One becoming Two, is what polarity and self awareness is based upon. Oh Gosh, It seems I am condemned to a Life of fear and the (re)actions & anxiety of creating a feeling of safety, individually & collectively.
What a knee-jerk World we must endure!
From my point of view, it doesn’t have to be that way. By changing ones perception around the ‘conjuncto’ (prime particle crossing itself) event, Unity & reconciliation are a reality.
Our Human eyes, I suggest, are currently perceiving & interpreting reality through the filters of; White & Black light. This gives us a ‘hard’ contrast between I & Others, clear division and subsequent arising Fear of not being fully ONE, thus out-of-control and compensating for this lack by creating ‘in-control’ structures; groups (gangs), police, councils, laws, governments, armies etc.
But all that i see is required is a change of conjuncto’ perception. The One – crossed itself, so there’s a way to know & embody this fundamental unity. Ones Eyes shift filters, from Black & White Light to Gold & Mirror Silver. When this happens, I-Other consciousness, shifts to: Lover & Beloved self-awareness. Unity & Reconciliation naturally then follow suit.
